FP&A Student Assistant, Copenhagen
Application deadline: March 20, 2026
By harnessing the power of technology and social behaviour, we have created a personalization-powered, community-driven e-commerce platform with more than 75 million community members. To keep up with our growth, we need financial support. As our FP&A Student Assistant, your mission is to turn Vivino data into a clear, actionable roadmap.
Play a key part in ensuring our financial data is accurate, our reporting is timely, and our processes are continuously improving
As our FP&A Student Assistant, you will step into the engine room of Vivino's global financial operations. Working directly with our Global FP&A Manager, you won't just be crunching numbers - you will be translating complex data into the narratives that steer our executive strategy.
This role is designed for a student who thrives in a fast-paced, data-centric environment and is eager to see how financial modeling impacts a global-scale-up in real time. During your time at Vivino, you will gain a deep understanding of Vivino's global financial structure and data flows. You will gain experience with budgeting/forecasting, recurring month-end close tasks and reporting cycles, and delivering on projects focused on automating manual processes or integrating new analytical tools.
Furthermore, here is a description of your tasks and responsibilities:
Support the preparation and consolidation of global budgets and long-term financial models. You'll play a vital role in maintaining the frameworks that track Vivino's performance targets across all markets
Drive the month-end closing support by preparing regular reporting decks. This includes data collection, variance analysis, and ensuring our stakeholders have a crystal-clear view of the "why" behind the numbers
Assist in building simulations and scenario analyses. You will help the team evaluate various risks and opportunities, providing the analytical backbone for new business cases
We don't just want things done; we want them done smarter. You will identify opportunities to make our workflows "better and faster," specifically exploring and testing AI-driven solutions to automate and optimize the FP&A function
Detail-oriented, analytically minded, with strong communicative skills
While we prefer not to confine anyone to rigid categories, we believe you will thrive and succeed in this position if you can effectively demonstrate your experience or aptitude across the aspects outlined below.
We are looking for a sharp, analytical mind currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a major in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration. You are naturally curious and possess a genuine hunger to dive into modern financial tools and methodologies. At Vivino, we move fast, and you aren't afraid to step out of your comfort zone to tackle unfamiliar tasks - whether that is exploring new AI applications to automate workflows or rolling up your sleeves for complex data reconciliations.
Beyond the spreadsheets, you bring a friendly, approachable communication style and a "service-first" attitude. You view yourself as a true support partner to the business, ready to assist global stakeholders with financial insights while building positive, professional relationships across departments.
Furthermore, we would think you can demonstrate the following:
A solid basic understanding of financial data, accounting principles, and reporting structures
You have a natural comfort with large datasets and a high degree of "data-hygiene" (accuracy is your middle name)
You are highly proficient in Excel
Experience with (or a strong desire to learn) NetSuite, Cube, or Looker is a significant plus.
An interest in or experience with using AI tools to increase productivity and insights
Strong communicative skills with the ability to adapt your priorities as the business evolves
